The Problem
The analysis revealed a complex interplay between emotional well-being, social support, self-control, motivation, and personal development. These factors were intertwined and influenced each other, highlighting the holistic nature of the athlete's experience. Support the holistic development of female soccer athletes by fostering positive team environments, providing access to psychological skills training, and promoting emotional regulation techniques. This approach can enhance both their athletic performance and overall well-being.
The Solution
ATLAS.ti software was used to analyze interview data. Word frequency analysis, Sankey diagrams, and network concept maps helped identify key themes and connections within athletes' narratives, providing a comprehensive view of motivation, resilience, and related factors.
